The polished nickel finish adds a touch of luxury, making it a versatile accent for various interior styles.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as reading sconces beside the bed at eye level
- Hallways, placed every 6-8 feet for ambient lighting
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork
- Staircases, providing accent lighting along the wall
- Dining rooms, used as accent lighting on a feature wall
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Spaces where a flush mount or ceiling light is needed
- Rooms with very low ceilings where the 10.25-inch extension might be intrusive
How bright is it?
This sconce accommodates one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), providing ample accent lighting. With a 60W equivalent LED bulb, you can achieve a warm, inviting glow suitable for ambient or task lighting. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light level to suit the mood.
Light color and feel
The clear glass globe allows the bulb to be visible, making it ideal for vintage-style ST64 bulbs. Choose a warm white bulb (2700K-3000K) for a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The transparent glass provides unobstructed light, creating a bright, crisp illumination.
