Description
A 1-light wall sconce from the Berkshire Collection, finished in brushed brass with a clear glass globe, ideal for bedrooms and hallways.
The Berkshire Collection redefines elegance with a seamless fusion of classic sophistication and contemporary flair. Its distinctive herringbone pattern on the steel frame adds a refined texture, while the clear glass globe disperses light captivatingly, creating a warm, inviting glow. This sconce is wall-mounted with a heavy, cast backplate, ensuring a sturdy and stylish addition to your space.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading light or above a nightstand
- Hallways and corridors, providing ambient accent lighting
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork
- Entryways, adding a warm welcome
- Damp-rated locations like bathrooms or covered patios
Not ideal for
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting, as this sconce is designed for accent or ambient illumination
- Large rooms needing primary light, as a single 100W bulb may not suffice
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this sconce can produce up to 1600 lumens, comparable to a traditional 100W bulb. It's suitable for accent lighting and ambient glow, but not as a primary light source for large areas.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shade allows the bulb's natural color to shine through. For a warm, inviting feel, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood. Compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 10.25 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 15.7 inches high, with a 10.25-inch extension from the wall. The backplate measures 4.75 inches wide by 6 inches high. This sconce works well in bedrooms, hallways, and other spaces with standard 8-foot ceilings.
