Description
A 6-inch wall sconce from the Berkshire Collection, finished in polished nickel with a clear glass globe - perfect for hallways and bedrooms.
The Berkshire sconce combines classic sophistication with contemporary flair. Its distinctive herringbone pattern and clear glass globe create a refined, modern look that adds a warm, inviting glow to any space. The heavy cast backplate ensures durability and a premium feel.
Best for
- Hallways, mounted at eye level to provide ambient light and visual interest
- Bedrooms, placed beside the bed as a reading light
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork for accent lighting
- Entryways, adding a welcoming glow
- Staircases, providing light along the path
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Outdoor uncovered areas - not rated for wet locations
- Spaces where a flush mount is needed - this sconce projects 9 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
With a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this sconce can produce up to 1600 lumens - bright enough for accent or task lighting, but not as a primary room light. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or dimmable bulb.
Light color and feel
The clear glass globe disperses light evenly, creating a warm, inviting glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright and functional to soft and intimate. Use a standard dimmer switch for best results.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 5.9 inches wide, 9 inches deep, and 16.25 inches high, with a 9-inch extension from the wall. It works well in hallways, bedrooms, and living rooms with standard 8-9 foot ceilings. The vertical orientation makes it ideal for narrow spaces.
