Description
A 1-light wall sconce from the Berkshire Collection, finished in polished nickel with a clear glass globe shade, designed for bedrooms and hallways.
The Berkshire Collection redefines elegance with a seamless fusion of classic sophistication and contemporary flair. Its distinctive herringbone pattern gives each fixture a unique, refined aesthetic, while the clear glass components allow light to disperse captivatingly, casting a warm, inviting glow. This sconce is wall-mounted with a heavy cast backplate, adding a touch of modern sophistication to any space.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading light or ambient accent
- Hallways, providing a warm welcome and guiding light
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork for a balanced look
- Entryways, adding a touch of elegance to the foyer
- Dining rooms, creating a cozy atmosphere on dimmer switches
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Outdoor areas without protection from the elements - damp rating does not cover direct rain
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you prefer a flush mount - this sconce extends 8.75 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this sconce can produce up to 1600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting or ambient illumination. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shade does not filter the light, so the color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs, and is dimmable for versatile lighting control.
Sizing and fit
This sconce measures 8.75 inches long, 5.5 inches wide, and 17 inches high, with an extension of 8.75 inches from the wall. The backplate is 4.75 inches wide and 6 inches high. It is ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and living rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. The vertical orientation and compact size make it a versatile choice for various wall spaces.
