Description
A 5-light chandelier from the Beacon collection, finished in brushed brass with larger mercury glass shades, ideal for dining rooms and kitchen islands.
The Beacon chandelier blends industrial and Art Nouveau styles with a brushed brass frame and five mercury glass globe shades. The larger 8-inch shades offer a bolder presence and softer light diffusion. Part of the Franklin Restoration series, it allows customization with interchangeable shades.
Best for
- Dining rooms 12x14 ft or larger, centered above a 6-8 ft table
- Kitchen islands 7-9 ft long, hung 30-36 in above the counter
- Living rooms with 9-10 ft ceilings, as a central ambient light
- Open-concept spaces needing a substantial statement fixture
Not ideal for
- Small powder rooms or hallways with ceilings under 8 ft
- Outdoor uncovered areas - rated for damp locations only, not wet
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs used (not included). With five medium-base (E26) sockets, using 60W equivalent LED bulbs (approx. 800 lumens each) yields about 4000 lumens total - suitable for a primary room light in medium to large spaces.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature is user-selectable. For a warm, inviting glow, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The mercury glass shades diffuse light, creating a soft, ambient glow with a vintage aesthetic.
