Description
A 14-inch semi-flush mount light with a mercury seeded glass globe, finished in brushed brass, for entryways and hallways with standard 8-9 ft ceilings.
Part of the Innovations Beacon collection, this semi-flush mount combines industrial and vintage-inspired design with a brushed brass finish and a mercury seeded glass shade. The cast brass and steel construction gives it a substantial feel, while the seeded glass diffuses light softly. Ideal for spaces where you want a touch of restoration style without overwhelming the room.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing ambient light and a warm welcome
- Hallways and corridors, mounted in the center for even illumination
- Bedrooms with low ceilings where a flush mount is needed but a bit of drop is acceptable
- Dining rooms with a small table, as a central light fixture
- Covered patios or porches (damp-rated) for a vintage industrial look
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure (damp-rated only, not wet-rated)
- Spaces with ceilings under 7 ft, as the 17-inch height may feel too low
- Large rooms over 12x12 ft as the single bulb may not provide sufficient primary lighting
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb used. With a recommended 60W equivalent LED bulb (about 800 lumens), it provides ample ambient light for a small to medium room. For a softer glow, use a 40W equivalent (450 lumens). Bulb not included.
Light color and feel
The mercury seeded glass shade creates a soft, diffused light with a subtle sparkle. For a warm, inviting atmosphere, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The seeded glass pattern adds texture to the light pattern on walls and ceiling.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 14 inches wide (diameter) by 17 inches high. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter and 0.75 inches high. The fixture projects 17 inches from the ceiling. Works best in rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. A medium base (E26) vintage-style bulb is recommended.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Dimmability depends on the bulb used. Use a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is rated for damp locations, so it can be used in bathrooms (not directly in the shower) or covered outdoor areas like a porch.

What is the difference between mercury glass and seeded glass? The shade is both mercury (reflective coating) and seeded (tiny air bubbles in the glass), giving a vintage, textured look.

Returns

All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
