How bright is it?

600 lumens - about as bright as a 40W incandescent bulb, ideal for task or accent lighting over a table or island, not sufficient as a primary room light.

Light color and feel

2700K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. Flatters skin tones and warm wood/brass interiors. CRI 82 is adequate for most residential settings.

Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? The included LED bulb is dimmable; use a standard LED-compatible dimmer.

Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is rated for damp locations, so it can be used in bathrooms (not directly in shower) or covered patios, but not in wet locations.

Can I use a different shade? Yes, the Beacon collection is part of the Edison family, allowing you to swap shades from the Franklin and Ballston collections.
