Description
A 1-light wall sconce from the Barrington Collection, finished in satin nickel with a clear glass globe, ideal for bedrooms and hallways.
The Barrington Collection blends modern design with organic elegance. This sconce features a flowing silhouette that cradles a radiant clear glass globe, creating a soft, inviting glow. The satin nickel finish on steel adds a sleek, contemporary touch that complements a variety of decor styles.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as a reading light beside the bed or above nightstands
- Hallways and corridors, providing ambient accent lighting
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or media console
- Entryways, adding a warm welcome
- Dining rooms, used as accent lighting on a feature wall
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain or moisture
- Spaces where a primary light source is needed - this is an accent fixture
How bright is it?
This sconce uses one 60W incandescent bulb (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. Lumen output depends on the bulb used; with a standard 60W incandescent, expect about 800 lumens, similar to a traditional bulb, ideal for accent or ambient lighting.
Light color and feel
The clear glass globe allows the bulb's natural light to shine through, creating a bright, crisp glow. If you use a warm white LED (2700K-3000K), the light will feel soft and inviting, flattering to skin tones and warm interiors. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood to suit any occasion.
Sizing and fit
This sconce measures 8 inches long, 4.25 inches wide, and 12.75 inches high, with an 8-inch extension from the wall. It is wall-mounted with a heavy, cast backplate and is designed for vertical orientation. The round backplate is 4.75 inches wide and 6 inches high, making it suitable for most wall spaces.
