Description
A 5-inch mini pendant with a hand-blown seedy glass shade, finished in polished nickel, for kitchen islands, dining nooks, and hallway accents.
The Ballston mini pendant brings an artisanal touch to any room. Its hand-blown glass shade, in a seedy finish, creates a unique, vintage-inspired look. The polished nickel frame and cast brass details add a refined, industrial elegance. This fixture is part of the Bridal Veil Collection and fits seamlessly into Art Nouveau, Industrial, and Restoration-Vintage décors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task and ambient light
- Dining rooms and nooks, providing a warm glow over a table
- Entryways and hallways, as a statement accent light
- Bedrooms and living rooms, for cozy, dimmable lighting
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, if you need the full 39.75-inch hanging length
- Primary room lighting in large open-plan areas, as it is a single 100W fixture
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can produce up to 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb. It's bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table, but for larger rooms, consider multiple pendants or supplemental lighting.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED or incandescent bulb. The seedy glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a gentle, ambient effect. This fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood to suit any occasion.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 5 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 9 inches high, with a shade that is 5 inches in diameter and 6 inches high. It includes one 6-inch and two 12-inch stems, allowing a total hanging length from 15.75 to 39.75 inches. The round canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It is sloped ceiling adaptable with a solid brass 90-degree swivel included.
