Description
A 5-inch mini pendant from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in oil rubbed bronze with a seedy glass bell shade, perfect for kitchen islands and dining nooks.
The Ballston mini pendant brings an artisanal touch to any space. Its handblown seedy glass shade is unique to each piece, and the oil rubbed bronze finish over steel and cast brass gives it a vintage industrial look. With a compact 5-inch profile, it works well in clusters or as a single accent.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row of two or three for task lighting
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, providing warm ambient light over a table
- Entryways and hallways, adding a vintage accent at a lower ceiling height
- Coffee bars and home bars, illuminating a small counter area
- Reading nooks and alcoves, offering focused light for a cozy corner
Not ideal for
- Large open rooms needing primary illumination - this is an accent light, not a main light source
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp rated, but not wet rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 39.75-inch hanging length
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), expect roughly 1600 lumens - bright enough for a small area, but consider it an accent or task light rather than a room's sole source.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, vintage feel, use a 2200K-2700K bulb. The seedy glass diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm glow that flatters wood and bronze finishes.
Sizing and fit
Fixture measures 5 inches wide by 5 inches deep by 9 inches high. Hanging height adjusts from 15.75 to 39.75 inches using the included 6-inch and two 12-inch stems. Canopy is 4.5 inches round. Works well over a 24-36 inch wide island or table.
