Description
A 5-inch mini pendant with a handblown seedy glass bell shade, finished in polished nickel, for kitchen islands and dining nooks.
The Ballston mini pendant brings an artisanal touch to any space. Its handblown seedy glass shade is unique to each piece, and the polished nickel finish on steel and cast brass adds a refined, vintage-inspired look. With a 120-inch adjustable cord, it fits a variety of ceiling heights and sloped ceilings.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task lighting
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, providing ambient light over a table
- Entryways and foyers, as a welcoming accent
- Coffee bars and home bars, adding a touch of rustic charm
- Hallways and corridors, for a decorative touch
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing primary illumination - this is a single 100W fixture, better for accent or task lighting
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you prefer a shorter drop - the cord can be cut, but the minimum hanging height is 12.75 inches
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), it provides ample light for a small area, similar to a traditional 100W bulb. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or dimmable bulb.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. The seedy glass shade diffuses light to create a warm, textured glow. Dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 5"(L) x 5"(W) x 9"(H). Hanging height ranges from 12.75 to 129.75 inches thanks to the 120-inch cord. The round canopy is 4.5" in diameter. Suitable for sloped ceilings.
