Description
A 5-inch mini pendant with a hand-blown seedy glass bell shade, finished in oil rubbed bronze, for kitchen islands and dining nooks.
The Ballston mini pendant features a seedy glass shade that adds texture and vintage character. Each shade is hand-blown, making it unique. The oil rubbed bronze finish complements the textured glass, creating a warm, inviting glow. The 120-inch adjustable cord allows for flexible hanging heights.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task lighting over a 6-8 ft counter
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, providing ambient light over a table
- Coffee bars and sideboards, adding a decorative accent
- Entryways and hallways, creating a warm welcome
- Covered patios and porches, as it is damp-rated
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, primary illumination - this is a 100W max accent light
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, it's not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 120-inch drop
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), expect roughly 1600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting over a small island or ambient light in a dining area.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The seedy glass shade will diffuse light softly, creating a gentle, ambient glow.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 5 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 9 inches high, with a 4.5-inch round canopy. The cord is 120 inches long and can be cut to your desired hanging length, allowing for a minimum height of 12.75 inches and a maximum of 129.75 inches. It is sloped ceiling adaptable.
