Description
A 48-inch 4-light island pendant from the Ballston Bridal Veil collection, finished in satin gold with smoke glass shades - ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
This island pendant features a sleek, art nouveau design with bell-shaped smoke glass shades. The satin gold finish adds a touch of elegance, while the handblown glass creates a unique, artisanal look. It's designed to illuminate large kitchen islands or dining tables.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task lighting over a 6-8 ft counter
- Dining rooms, centered over a large table for 6-8 people
- Open-plan living areas, providing ambient light over a breakfast bar
- Covered patios, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Entryways, making a statement in a two-story foyer
Not ideal for
- Small rooms where a 48-inch fixture may overwhelm the space
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft, as the pendant may hang too low
How bright is it?
Each socket is rated for up to 100 watts, so total brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With four 60W incandescent bulbs, you'll get about 2400 lumens - enough for a primary light in a medium-sized room.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, use 2700K LED bulbs. For a brighter, more neutral light, use 3000K or 4000K bulbs. Dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
Sizing and fit
Measures 48 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 9.5 inches high. Hanging height adjusts from 16.25 to 40.25 inches. Sloped ceiling adaptable with included swivels.
