Best for

• Kitchen islands 6-8 feet long, providing focused task lighting over the counter.
• Dining rooms with a rectangular table, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop.
• Open-concept living spaces where a statement light is needed.
• Covered patios or sunrooms, as it is damp-rated.
• Homes with sloped ceilings, as it includes swivels for sloped ceiling adaptation.

Not ideal for

• Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated, but not wet-rated.
• Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 40-inch hanging length.
• Those seeking a minimalist or ultra-modern look - this fixture has a vintage, artisanal style.

How bright is it?

Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. It uses four 100-watt max bulbs (not included), so brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With standard LED bulbs, you can achieve bright, functional lighting for a kitchen island.

Light color and feel

Color temperature depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, inviting glow, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The mercury glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm ambiance.
