Description
A 35-inch, 4-light bath vanity light from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in matte black with gloss white glass shades - designed for bathrooms and powder rooms.
The Ballston brings an artisanal touch to your bath space with its hand-blown glass shades, each one unique. Its sleek, bell-shaped design and matte black finish over steel and cast brass construction fit seamlessly into Art Nouveau, industrial, and restoration-vintage interiors. The horizontal, wall-mounted fixture adds a warm, inviting glow above your vanity.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 36-48 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror
- Powder rooms where you want a statement piece with vintage character
- Damp locations such as bathrooms with ventilation, thanks to its damp-rated safety listing
- Spaces with 8-foot or higher ceilings, as the fixture extends 10 inches from the wall
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas without cover - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Small powder rooms under 5 feet wide - the 35-inch width may overwhelm the space
- Spaces where you need a dimmer that is not compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, or halogen bulbs - though the fixture is dimmable, you'll need a compatible dimmer
How bright is it?
With four 100-watt maximum sockets, the brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. Using 60W incandescent equivalents, you can expect around 800 lumens per bulb, totaling about 3200 lumens - bright enough for a primary bathroom light. LED bulbs can provide similar brightness with less energy.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the light to your preferred level. With warm white bulbs (2700K-3000K), the light will feel soft and flattering, ideal for a relaxing bath. The gloss white glass shades diffuse the light evenly, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 35 inches wide, 6.63 inches deep, and 10 inches high, with a 6.63-inch extension from the wall. It comes with a 2mm cast backplate (6"W x 4.5"H) and requires partial assembly. The 120-inch cord allows for flexible wiring.
