Description
A 25-inch, 3-light bathroom vanity light from the Ballston Bridal Veil Collection, finished in satin nickel with mercury glass shades - ideal for bathrooms and powder rooms.
The Ballston vanity light brings an artisanal touch to your bathroom with its handblown mercury glass shades, each one unique. The satin nickel finish and bell-shaped shades evoke an Art Nouveau, industrial, and restoration-vintage aesthetic that complements a wide range of decor styles. Made from durable steel and cast brass, this fixture is built to last.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 36-48 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror
- Powder rooms where you want a statement light with vintage character
- Damp locations such as bathrooms with ventilation, as it is UL/CUL damp rated
- Spaces with a modern or transitional style that need a touch of industrial charm
- Homeowners who appreciate handcrafted details and unique glass shades
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas or locations with direct water exposure, as it is only damp rated
- Spaces with low ceilings where the 10-inch height might be too tall
- Those seeking a minimalist or ultra-modern look, as the design is more ornate
How bright is it?
This fixture uses three 100-watt maximum bulbs (not included) and is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood. The actual lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose; with standard 60W incandescent bulbs, you can expect about 220 lumens per bulb, providing warm, ambient light suitable for bathroom tasks.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shades diffuse light softly, creating a warm and inviting glow. The fixture is compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs, so you can choose the color temperature that best suits your space. For a classic warm feel, opt for 2700K-3000K LED bulbs.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 25 inches wide, 6.63 inches deep, and 10 inches high, with a 6.63-inch extension from the wall. It is designed for horizontal mounting and comes with a rectangular backplate that measures 6 inches wide by 4.5 inches high. This size is ideal for vanities 36 inches or wider.
