Description
A 25-inch wide, 3-light bathroom vanity light with antique brass finish and seeded glass bell shades, ideal for bathrooms and powder rooms.
The Ballston Bridal Veil vanity light combines Art Nouveau elegance with industrial vintage appeal. Its antique brass finish and hand-blown seeded glass shades create a unique, artisanal look. The heavy cast brass backplate adds durability and a substantial feel. This fixture is designed to complement a wide range of decor styles.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 30-48 inch vanity, mounted above the mirror for balanced lighting
- Powder rooms where a distinctive, artisanal fixture becomes a focal point
- Hallways or entryways as a decorative light source
- Spaces with damp-rated requirements, as this fixture is damp-rated
- Homes with Art Nouveau, industrial, or restoration-vintage decor
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain or moisture, as it is only damp-rated
- Spaces with low ceilings where the 10-inch height might be an issue
- Those seeking a bright, primary light source, as each socket is rated for 100W max but bulbs are not included
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. The fixture is compatible with up to 100W per socket, so you can achieve a total of up to 300W. For reference, a 60W incandescent bulb produces about 800 lumens, so three 60W bulbs would give you 2400 lumens, suitable for a bathroom.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you select. For a warm, cozy feel, choose bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The seeded glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare and creating a pleasant ambiance.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 25 inches wide, 10 inches high, and extends 6.63 inches from the wall. It is designed for horizontal mounting on a standard wall box. The backplate is 6 inches wide and 4.5 inches high, covering most standard junction boxes.
