Description
A 17-inch, 3-light flush mount from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in polished nickel with seedy glass shades - a versatile fixture for bedrooms, hallways, and dining areas.
The Ballston flush mount brings a dynamic yet understated presence to any room. Its bell-shaped seedy glass shades diffuse light softly, while the polished nickel finish and steel/cast brass construction offer durability and timeless appeal. Designed to fit seamlessly into a variety of décor styles, from Art Nouveau to industrial and restoration-vintage, this fixture is an easy choice for homeowners seeking both style and function.
Best for
- Bedrooms 10x12 ft or larger, mounted as a primary ceiling light for ambient illumination
- Hallways and corridors, providing even, welcoming light
- Dining rooms, as a flush mount under low ceilings
- Living rooms, adding a vintage-inspired accent
- Covered porches or bathrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Spaces with sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped-ceiling adaptable
- Outdoor areas exposed to direct rain or moisture
- Rooms where you need a focused task light, as this provides ambient light only
How bright is it?
With three 300W incandescent bulbs (not included), this fixture can produce up to 12,000 lumens - bright enough to serve as a primary light source in medium to large rooms. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage LED or halogen bulbs.
Light color and feel
The seedy glass shades diffuse light, creating a warm, inviting glow. Compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs, you can choose your preferred color temperature. Dimmable when used with compatible bulbs and a dimmer switch, allowing you to adjust the mood.
