Description
A 17-inch, 3-light flush mount ceiling light for bedrooms, hallways, and dining areas, finished in satin gold with glossy white glass shades.
The Ballston Bridal Veil flush mount brings a touch of Art Nouveau elegance to any room. Its sleek, bell-shaped glass shades and satin gold finish blend seamlessly with industrial, restoration-vintage, and transitional decor. Made from durable steel and cast brass, this fixture is built to last and adds a warm, inviting glow to your space.
Best for
- Bedrooms 10x10 ft or larger, providing ambient light from the ceiling
- Hallways and entryways, mounted flush to the ceiling for a low-profile look
- Dining rooms, as a soft ambient light over a table
- Living rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, where a flush mount keeps headroom clear
- Covered porches or bathrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Spaces with sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Areas requiring bright task lighting, as this is an ambient fixture
- Outdoor locations exposed to direct rain, as it is only damp-rated
How bright is it?
With three 300W incandescent bulbs (not included), this fixture can produce up to 12,000 lumens if using 100W equivalent LEDs, but actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. For a softer, ambient glow, use 60W equivalent bulbs.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, cozy feel, choose bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The glossy white glass shades diffuse light evenly, reducing glare and creating a pleasant atmosphere.
Sizing and fit
This flush mount measures 16.75 inches in diameter and 10 inches in height, making it ideal for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. The round canopy is 13 inches in diameter. It is designed for dry or damp locations, but not for wet areas.
