Description
A 17-inch, 3-light flush mount for bedrooms and hallways, finished in antique copper with light smoke glass shades.
The Ballston collection is known for its sleek design and versatile finish options. This fixture features a bell-shaped light smoke glass shade that adds a touch of sophistication to any room. The antique copper finish and industrial style make it a perfect fit for modern and restoration-vintage interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms with 8-foot ceilings, providing soft ambient light
- Hallways and corridors needing even illumination
- Living rooms with an industrial or transitional decor
- Dining areas with a table below, creating a warm gathering spot
- Home offices as a bright, glare-free light source
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 7 ft, as the 10-inch height may feel tight
- Spaces requiring a flush mount with a smaller footprint than 17 inches
How bright is it?
With three bulbs (not included), the brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. For reference, three 60W incandescent bulbs produce about 2,700 lumens total - enough for ambient lighting in a medium-sized room. LED bulbs can provide similar brightness with less energy.
Light color and feel
The fixture itself does not determine light color; it depends on the bulbs. For a warm, inviting glow, choose bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The light smoke glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare and creating a pleasant ambiance.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 16.75 inches in length and width, and 10 inches in height. It is designed for standard 8-foot ceilings, but can work on higher ceilings if mounted with a longer downrod (not included). The canopy is 13 inches in diameter, covering a standard junction box.
