Description
A 3-light flush mount with a black antique brass finish and gloss white glass bell shades - ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and dining rooms.
The Ballston Bridal Veil flush mount combines Art Nouveau and industrial vintage styling. Its three gloss white glass bell shades diffuse light softly, while the black antique brass finish adds a dramatic, vintage touch. The fixture is dimmable and rated for damp locations, making it a versatile choice for many rooms.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors, providing even ambient light
- Bedrooms, as a primary ceiling light with a soft, warm glow
- Dining rooms, offering ambient light over a table
- Living rooms and family rooms, adding a vintage accent
Not ideal for
- Spaces with sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need a flush mount with a lower profile - this fixture is 10 inches high
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. The fixture accepts three medium-base (E26) bulbs up to 100W incandescent equivalent each. With three 60W incandescent bulbs, you'll get about 2400 lumens total - enough for ambient lighting in a medium-sized room. For a softer glow, use 40W bulbs (about 1350 lumens total). Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer.
Light color and feel
The light color is determined by the bulbs you select. For a warm, inviting feel, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The gloss white glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness with a compatible dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 16.75 inches long, 16.75 inches wide, and 10 inches high, with a canopy that is 13 inches in diameter. It is designed for flat ceilings only. This flush mount works well in hallways, bedrooms, and dining rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings.
