Description
A 17-inch, three-light flush mount ceiling light with a brushed brass finish and seedy glass shades, ideal for kitchens, hallways, and other spaces with standard ceilings.
Part of the Bridal Veil collection, this flush mount features a heavy brass canopy and bell-shaped seedy glass shades that add a vintage, textured look. The brushed brass finish and seedy glass create a warm, inviting glow that complements industrial and restoration-vintage decor. The fixture is designed to fit seamlessly into most home styles.
Best for
- Kitchens with 8-10 ft ceilings, providing ambient light over a central island or table
- Hallways and entryways, mounted flush to the ceiling to save space
- Dining rooms with lower ceilings where a pendant would be too tall
- Bedrooms, offering a warm, diffused glow for relaxation
- Living rooms with a vintage or industrial design theme
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Outdoor covered patios or porches - not rated for wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 7 ft - the fixture hangs 10 inches, which may be too low for very low ceilings
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
How bright is it?
This fixture uses three 100W E26 bulbs (not included), which can produce up to 300W of incandescent light. With LED bulbs, you can achieve similar brightness at a fraction of the energy. The actual lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose; with three 800-lumen LED bulbs, you'll get about 2400 lumens - enough to light a medium-sized room as a primary light source.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, cozy feel, choose bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The seedy glass shades diffuse the light, creating a soft, textured glow that flatters the brushed brass finish. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 16.75 inches in diameter and 10 inches in height, making it a medium-sized flush mount suitable for most rooms. It is not compatible with sloped ceilings, so it is best for flat ceilings. The canopy is 13 inches in diameter and 1 inch high, covering a standard 4-inch junction box.
