Description
A 15-inch, 2-light bathroom vanity light from the Ballston Bridal Veil Collection, finished in satin nickel with light smoke glass shades - a versatile choice for bathrooms and powder rooms.
The Ballston vanity light blends Art Nouveau, Industrial, and Restoration-Vintage styling with a sleek, dynamic design. Its steel and cast brass construction, bell-shaped glass shades, and rectangular backplate make it an easy fit for most decor styles. Each hand-blown glass shade is unique, adding an artisanal touch.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror
- Powder rooms and hallways needing ambient or accent lighting
- Spaces with damp-rated requirements, such as bathrooms with ventilation
- Homes with Art Nouveau, Industrial, or Restoration-Vintage decor
Not ideal for
- Outdoor uncovered areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with low ceilings where the 10-inch height might feel intrusive
How bright is it?
With two 200W incandescent bulbs (not included), this fixture can produce significant brightness - up to 400W total. However, lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose. For a softer, energy-efficient glow, use LED bulbs compatible with the E26 socket.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you install. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the ambiance. For a warm, inviting feel, choose bulbs with a color temperature around 2700K-3000K. The light smoke glass shades diffuse light gently, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 15 inches wide, 6.63 inches deep, and 10 inches high, with a 6.63-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 6 inches wide by 4.5 inches high. It is designed for horizontal mounting and fits well above a standard 24-36 inch vanity.
