Description
A 2-light bathroom vanity light with hand-blown light smoke glass bell shades, finished in oil rubbed bronze, for bathrooms and powder rooms seeking an artisanal, vintage look.
The Ballston Bridal Veil vanity light combines a heavy cast backplate with hand-blown glass shades, each unique due to the artisanal process. The oil rubbed bronze finish and light smoke glass create a sophisticated, muted contrast that fits Art Nouveau, industrial, and restoration-vintage styles. The bell-shaped shades diffuse light softly, adding a warm, inviting glow to your space.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 inch vanity, mounted above the mirror for even task lighting
- Powder rooms where a unique, artisanal fixture becomes a focal point
- Hallways or entryways as a decorative accent light
- Art Nouveau, industrial, or vintage-inspired interiors
- Damp locations such as bathrooms with ventilation
Not ideal for
- Large bathrooms needing bright, primary lighting - this fixture provides accent-level illumination
- Outdoor areas without cover - rated for damp, not wet locations
- Spaces with low ceilings if you prefer a flush mount - this extends 6.63 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
With two 100W maximum bulbs (not included), the total output depends on the bulbs you choose. For reference, two 60W incandescent bulbs produce about 840 lumens, similar to a single 75W bulb. This is ideal for accent or ambient lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
The fixture is compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. The hand-blown glass shades soften and diffuse the light, creating a warm, ambient glow. It is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood. For a vintage look, we recommend the BB-60-A bulb (sold separately).
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 15 inches wide, 10 inches high, and extends 6.63 inches from the wall. It is designed for horizontal mounting on a standard wall box. The backplate is 6 inches wide and 4.5 inches high, covering most junction boxes. Ideal for vanities up to 36 inches wide.
