Description
A 15-inch, two-light bathroom vanity light with a vintage industrial look, finished in black antique brass with seedy glass shades.
The Ballston Bridal Veil vanity light brings an artisanal, hand-blown glass quality to your bathroom. The seedy glass shades have a textured, bubbled appearance that adds character and diffuses light beautifully. The black antique brass finish on steel and cast brass construction gives it a timeless, industrial feel that complements a range of decor styles.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror
- Powder rooms where you want a statement light with vintage character
- Damp-rated locations like bathrooms with ventilation
- Spaces with a modern, industrial, or restoration-vintage aesthetic
- Pairing with dimmer switches for adjustable ambient lighting
Not ideal for
- Large bathrooms needing bright, task-level lighting - this fixture provides ambient light, not high lumens
- Wet locations such as directly inside a shower or above a bathtub without proper enclosure
- Ceilings lower than 8 feet if you prefer a flush mount - this extends 6.63 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts two 100-watt maximum bulbs (not included). With standard LED bulbs, you can achieve bright, functional lighting for a bathroom vanity.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. The seedy glass shades diffuse light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow. If you use the recommended ST64-style bulbs, you can achieve a vintage, Edison-bulb look. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 15 inches wide, 6.63 inches deep, and 10 inches high. It extends 6.63 inches from the wall. The backplate is 6 inches wide and 4.5 inches high. Ideal for a 24-36 inch vanity, mounted with the center of the fixture about 60-66 inches from the floor.
