Description
A 5-inch semi-flush mount ceiling light with a seedy glass bell shade, finished in oil rubbed bronze - ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and other spaces with lower ceilings.
The Bridal Veil collection brings an art nouveau, vintage-inspired look to your home. This compact fixture features a steel and cast brass frame in a rich oil rubbed bronze finish, paired with a hand-blown seedy glass shade that adds a touch of elegance. Its small footprint makes it perfect for tight spaces where a full chandelier won't fit.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-foot ceilings, providing ambient light without overwhelming the space
- Bedrooms and sitting areas where a low-profile light is needed
- Dining nooks and breakfast corners, adding a vintage accent
- Powder rooms and bathrooms (damp-rated) for safe, stylish illumination
- Covered porches and patios (damp-rated) for outdoor ambiance
Not ideal for
- Large open rooms needing bright, primary lighting - this is an accent fixture
- Sloped ceilings - not adaptable
- Spaces where you want a modern or minimalist look - this has a vintage, ornate feel
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. It accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) or an equivalent LED. With a 100W incandescent, you'll get about 1600 lumens - enough for a small room. For a softer glow, use a 60W equivalent LED.
Light color and feel
The seedy glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, ambient glow. For a cozy feel, choose a 2700K-3000K bulb. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood. Use a standard dimmer switch for incandescent or halogen bulbs; for LED, ensure the bulb is dimmable.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 5 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 10.25 inches high. It's designed for standard 8-foot ceilings but works in any room with at least 7 feet of clearance. The round canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter.
