Description
A 5-inch semi-flush mount from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in brushed brass with a light smoke glass shade, for entryways and bedrooms.
Part of the Ballston line, this semi-flush mount features a sleek, dynamic design that fits seamlessly into most decor styles. The brushed brass finish and light smoke glass shade create an art nouveau, industrial look that works well in restoration-vintage and traditional interiors. Each glass shade is handblown, making every piece unique.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers, providing a warm welcome with a compact profile
- Bedrooms, mounted on the ceiling for ambient lighting
- Hallways, adding a touch of elegance without taking up much space
- Dining rooms, used as a secondary light source or in a cluster
- Bathrooms, rated for damp locations, perfect for above a vanity or tub
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas without protection from rain or moisture - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Areas where you need bright, task-level illumination - this semi-flush mount provides ambient light, not primary task lighting
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces around 1600 lumens - bright enough for ambient lighting in a bedroom or entryway. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. With a standard incandescent bulb, you'll get a warm, inviting glow. The light smoke glass shade diffuses the light, creating a soft, ambient effect. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit the mood.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 5 inches in diameter and 10.25 inches in height. It's suitable for entryways, bedrooms, and hallways with standard 8-foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter.
