Description
A 5-inch, 1-light wall sconce from Innovations Lighting's Bridal Veil collection, finished in satin nickel with a gloss white glass shade, ideal for hallways and bedrooms.
This wall sconce features a bell-shaped gloss white glass shade that is handblown, giving each piece a unique, artisanal look. The satin nickel finish on steel and cast brass adds a modern touch. It's a versatile light that works well in various settings.
Best for
- Hallways, mounted at eye level to provide ambient lighting.
- Bedrooms, as bedside reading lights.
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork.
- Entryways, adding a warm welcome.
- Homes with industrial or restoration-vintage decor.
Not ideal for
- Large rooms requiring high brightness, as a single sconce is limited.
- Bathrooms with direct water exposure, despite damp rating, it's not wet-rated.
- Outdoor uncovered areas, as it is not wet-rated.
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 60W equivalent LED, you can expect around 800 lumens, suitable for accent and ambient lighting.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy glow, use a 2700K bulb. The gloss white shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 5 inches wide, 6.75 inches deep, and 10 inches high, with a backplate of 4.5 inches wide and 6 inches high. It extends 6.75 inches from the wall, making it suitable for hallways and corridors.
