Description
A 5-inch wall sconce with a bell-shaped light smoke glass shade and antique copper finish, ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and living spaces.
The Ballston sconce from Innovations Lighting brings an artisanal touch to any room. Its hand-blown glass shade in light smoke creates a unique, artisanal look, while the antique copper finish on steel and cast brass adds vintage-industrial charm. This fixture fits seamlessly into Art Nouveau, industrial, and restoration-vintage décors.
Best for
- Bedrooms as a reading sconce beside the bed, mounted at eye level
- Hallways and corridors for ambient accent lighting
- Living rooms to highlight artwork or architectural details
- Entryways and foyers for a warm welcome
- Damp-rated locations like bathrooms or covered patios
Not ideal for
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you prefer a flush mount
- Areas requiring bright task lighting - this is an accent fixture
- Outdoor locations exposed to direct rain (damp-rated, not wet-rated)
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. It accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), so brightness depends on the bulb you choose. For reference, a 100W incandescent bulb produces about 1600 lumens, which is bright enough for ambient lighting in a medium-sized room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature not specified by manufacturer. The light smoke glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm and inviting glow. Dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 5 inches wide, 6.75 inches deep, and 10 inches high, with a 6.75-inch extension from the wall. It has a rectangular backplate (4.5"W x 6"H) and is wall-mounted vertically. Suitable for most wall spaces.
