Description
A 51-inch four-light bath vanity light from the Boreas collection, finished in satin nickel with seedy glass cylinder shades, for bathroom vanities and mirrors.
Part of the Boreas collection, this vanity light combines sleek contemporary style with Art Deco flair. The satin nickel finish and seedy glass shades diffuse light beautifully, while the heavy cast backplate adds durability. The sockets swivel at the backplate for easy bulb changes, and it can be mounted vertically or horizontally for flexibility.
Best for
- Bathroom vanities 48-60 inches wide, mounted horizontally above the mirror
- Double vanities, providing even illumination for grooming
- Mirror lighting in dressing rooms or makeup areas
- Hallways or galleries, mounted vertically for a dramatic effect
- Powder rooms, as a stylish accent light
Not ideal for
- Small powder rooms under 5 ft wide, as it may overpower the space
- Outdoor areas, as it is only damp-rated
- Spaces with low ceilings, as it is a wall mount and may not fit above a low mirror
How bright is it?
This fixture uses four 400W incandescent bulbs (not included), but the wattage is likely a typo; typical bulbs are 60W. With four 60W bulbs, you can expect around 3200 lumens total, ideal for task lighting at a vanity. For a softer glow, use dimmable LED bulbs.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified, but it is dimmable and compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. With warm white LEDs (2700K-3000K), the light will be flattering for skin tones and complement the satin nickel finish.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 50.75 inches wide, 4 inches deep, and 4.5 inches high. It extends 4 inches from the wall. The backplate is 52 inches wide and 4.5 inches high. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally, and is ADA compliant.
