Description
A 51-inch, 4-light bathroom vanity light in polished nickel with Deco Swirl glass shades, for bathrooms and powder rooms that want a sleek yet custom look.
The Boreas collection offers the clean lines of the Ballston with the freedom to mix in glass or metal shades from the Franklin collection, so you can tailor the fixture to your space. Finished in polished nickel with Deco Swirl glass cylinders, it brings a contemporary, Art Deco touch to your bath area. The cast brass backplate and swiveling sockets make bulb changes easy.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 48-60 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror for even task lighting
- Powder rooms where a statement fixture with Art Deco flair is desired
- Damp locations such as bathrooms with ventilation, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Spaces needing bright, dimmable illumination for grooming and makeup application
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain or direct water spray - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Small powder rooms under 5 feet wide, where a 51-inch fixture may overwhelm the space
- Ceilings under 8 feet if you prefer a more compact vanity light
How bright is it?
With four 400W incandescent bulbs (not included), this fixture can produce up to 2200 lumens per bulb, but actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. For reference, a 60W incandescent bulb emits about 800 lumens. This light is ideal for task lighting in a bathroom, easily illuminating a vanity area.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, inviting glow, choose bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The Deco Swirl glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare and creating a pleasant ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a softer evening glow.
Sizing and fit
This vanity light measures 50.75 inches wide, 4 inches deep, and 4.5 inches high, with a 4-inch extension from the wall. It is designed for wall mounting and can be oriented vertically or horizontally. The backplate is 52 inches wide, so ensure your wall space can accommodate it. It works well in bathrooms with vanities 48 inches or wider.
