Description
A 39-inch, 4-light bathroom vanity light in polished nickel with striped clear glass shades, for contemporary and Art Deco bathrooms.
The Boreas collection from Innovations Lighting brings sleek, modern style with a touch of Art Deco flair. This vanity light features a polished nickel finish on steel and cast brass, with cylindrical striped clear glass shades that add visual interest. The heavy cast backplate mounts securely to the wall, and the sockets swivel for easy bulb changes. It's a versatile fixture that can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 36-48 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror
- Powder rooms where you want a statement light with a contemporary edge
- Dressing areas or makeup stations that need bright, even illumination
- Hallways or entryways when mounted vertically as a wall sconce
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas without cover - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with low ceilings if you prefer a flush mount - this fixture extends 4 inches from the wall
- Rooms where you need a dimmer that is not compatible with LED bulbs - check dimmer compatibility
How bright is it?
This fixture uses four 400W incandescent bulbs (not included), but it is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. The actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With LED bulbs, you can achieve bright, energy-efficient light. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, inviting glow, choose bulbs with a color temperature around 2700K-3000K. The striped clear glass shades diffuse the light slightly, reducing glare while still providing ample illumination. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
This vanity light measures 38.75 inches wide, 4 inches deep, and 4.5 inches high, with a 4-inch extension from the wall. It's designed for bathrooms with a double vanity or a wide mirror. The backplate is 39 inches wide, so ensure your wall space can accommodate it.
