Description
A 39-inch, 4-light bathroom vanity light in polished nickel with clear glass shades - designed for bathrooms and powder rooms above a double vanity.
The Boreas collection offers the sleek style of Ballston with the flexibility to customize with glass or metal shades from the Franklin collection. This vanity light features a heavy cast brass backplate and swiveling sockets for easy bulb changes. The polished nickel finish and clear glass shades give it a contemporary, art deco feel.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 48-60 inch double vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror
- Powder rooms and guest baths, adding a touch of elegance
- Dressing areas and makeup stations, providing bright, even light
- Hallways and corridors, used as a decorative wall light
- ADA-compliant spaces, as it meets ADA requirements
Not ideal for
- Small powder rooms with a single 24-inch vanity - the 39-inch width may overwhelm the space
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you need to mount it vertically - it can be oriented either way, but plan for the height
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. It accepts four 400W incandescent bulbs (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs, so you can choose the brightness you need.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified by the manufacturer. The clear glass shades allow the bulbs to be visible, creating a bright, crisp light ideal for grooming tasks. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood with a compatible dimmer.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 38.75 inches wide, 4 inches deep, and 4.5 inches tall, with a 4-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 39 inches wide and 4.5 inches tall.
