Description
A 39-inch, 4-light bathroom vanity light in oil rubbed bronze with seedy glass shades, for bathrooms and powder rooms that want a sleek, customizable look.
The Boreas from Innovations Lighting offers the sleek style of the Ballston with the ability to add flair. It can be fitted with any of the glass or metal shades from the Franklin collection to create a custom fixture that fits your needs. The oil rubbed bronze finish and seedy glass shades give it a contemporary, Art Deco feel.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 36-48 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror
- Powder rooms where you want a statement light with a vintage-industrial touch
- Damp locations like bathrooms with ventilation, as it is UL/CUL damp rated
- Spaces with 8-foot ceilings, as it mounts close to the wall
- Homeowners who want a fixture that can be customized with different shades
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas without cover, as it is rated for damp locations only, not wet
- Spaces where you need a light that can be aimed, as the sockets swivel but the fixture is fixed
- Very narrow vanities under 30 inches, as the 39-inch width may overhang
How bright is it?
With four 400W incandescent bulbs (not included), this fixture can produce a very bright light. However, since it's dimmable, you can adjust it to suit your needs. For energy efficiency, consider using LED bulbs.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. With warm white LEDs (2700K-3000K), you'll get a cozy, inviting glow that flatters skin tones. The seedy glass shades diffuse the light, reducing glare and creating a soft, ambient effect.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 38.75 inches wide, 4 inches deep, and 4.5 inches high, with a 4-inch extension from the wall. It's designed for horizontal or vertical mounting on a wall. The backplate is 39 inches wide and 4.5 inches high, so ensure your wall space can accommodate it.
