Description
A 39-inch, 4-light bathroom vanity light from Innovations Lighting's Boreas collection, finished in black antique brass with light smoke glass shades - perfect for bathrooms and powder rooms.
The Boreas vanity light combines sleek contemporary style with art deco flair. Its heavy cast brass construction and black antique brass finish give it a sturdy, elegant presence. The light smoke glass shades add a touch of sophistication, while the swivel sockets make bulb changes easy. This fixture is ADA compliant and can be mounted vertically or horizontally, offering flexibility for your space.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 48-60 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror for even lighting
- Powder rooms, adding a touch of art deco elegance
- Dressing rooms or makeup areas, where bright, even light is essential
- Hallways or entryways, mounted vertically to flank a mirror or artwork
- Spaces with damp location requirements, as this fixture is UL/CUL damp rated
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas without cover - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Small powder rooms under 5 feet wide, as the 39-inch width may overwhelm the space
- Rooms with low ceilings if you need a flush mount - this is a wall-mounted fixture with a 4-inch extension
How bright is it?
This fixture uses four bulbs (not included) with E26 sockets. It is compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. With four 60W equivalent LED bulbs, you can expect around 800 lumens per bulb, totaling approximately 3200 lumens - bright enough for a primary bathroom light.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a flattering, warm glow in bathrooms, select bulbs with a color temperature around 2700K-3000K. The light smoke glass shades diffuse the light slightly, reducing glare. This fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness for a relaxing bath or bright task lighting.
Sizing and fit
This vanity light measures 38.75 inches wide, 4 inches deep, and 4.5 inches high, with a 4-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 39 inches wide and 4.5 inches high. It is designed for standard 8-9 foot ceilings and works well above a 48-60 inch vanity.
