Description
A 39-inch wide, four-light bathroom vanity light with a brushed brass finish and clear glass cylinder shades, offering a sleek, contemporary look.
The Boreas from the Ballston collection combines sleek style with customizable flair. The brushed brass frame and clear glass cylinder shades create a clean, art deco-inspired aesthetic. The sockets swivel at the backplate for easy bulb changes, and the fixture can be mounted vertically or horizontally. This damp-rated fixture is a versatile and elegant choice for any bathroom.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 48-60 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror
- Powder rooms where a contemporary, art deco accent is desired
- Spaces with modern or art deco decor
- Hallways or entryways as a statement light
Not ideal for
- Small bathrooms under 36 inches wide, as the 39-inch width may be too large
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain, as it is only damp-rated
- Spaces with low ceilings if you plan to mount it vertically, as it extends 4 inches
How bright is it?
This fixture uses four 400W incandescent bulbs (not included), producing up to 1600 lumens per bulb if using LED equivalents. That's about as bright as a standard 100W incandescent bulb per socket, ideal for task lighting at a vanity. For a softer ambient glow, use lower-wattage bulbs.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, inviting feel, select bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood. It is compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 39 inches wide, 4 inches deep, and 4 inches high. It is designed for wall mounting with a heavy cast backplate. The backplate is 39 inches wide and 4.5 inches high. This size works well above a double vanity in a standard bathroom.
