Innovations Boreas 3in 1-Light Mini Pendant | Contemporary Satin Nickel and White Glass | Kitchen Island & Dining Room | Model 617-1S-SN-G617-8WH

A 3-inch, 1-light mini pendant from the Boreas collection, finished in satin nickel with a white glass shade, for kitchen islands and dining areas.

The Boreas mini pendant offers the sleek style of the Ballston with the ability to customize with various glass or metal shades from the Franklin collection. This version features a white glass cylinder shade that diffuses light softly, creating a clean, contemporary look. The satin nickel finish over steel and cast brass adds a touch of Art Deco elegance.

Best for

• Kitchen islands, hung in a row of 2-3 for focused task lighting
• Dining nooks and breakfast bars, providing a warm glow over the counter
• Entryways and hallways, adding a stylish accent at eye level
• Bathrooms and covered patios, thanks to its damp-rated construction
• Contemporary and Art Deco interiors seeking a minimalist fixture

Not ideal for

• Large rooms requiring a primary light source - this is an accent or task light
• Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 40-inch hanging length
• Areas needing a flush mount - this is a stem-hung pendant

How bright is it?

With a single 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can produce up to 1,600 lumens - enough for task lighting over a small island or counter. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.

Light color and feel

Bulb color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting light, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The white glass shade diffuses light evenly, reducing glare and creating a soft, ambient glow.

Sizing and fit

The fixture measures 3 inches wide, 3 inches deep, and 10 inches high. With the included stems (one 6-inch and two 12-inch sections), the hanging height can be adjusted from 16.75 to 40.75 inches, making it suitable for ceilings 8 ft or higher. It is sloped-ceiling compatible.
