Description
A 3-inch mini pendant from the Boreas collection, finished in matte black with a light smoke glass shade, for kitchen islands and dining nooks.
The Boreas mini pendant brings the sleek silhouette of the Ballston family into a compact, customizable form. Its cylindrical glass shade in light smoke adds a subtle, smoky flair, while the matte black steel and cast brass construction keeps the look contemporary with a hint of Art Deco. Mix and match with Franklin collection shades to create a fixture that's uniquely yours.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row of two or three for task lighting
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, providing focused light over a table
- Entryways and foyers, as a single statement pendant
- Hallways and corridors, adding ambient light at regular intervals
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing broad, general illumination - this is a focused accent light
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 40-inch hanging length
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated, not wet-rated
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With a 100W incandescent equivalent (bulb not included), expect a bright accent light suitable for task and ambient use, not a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature not specified. The light smoke glass shade softens and diffuses the light, creating a warm, inviting glow. Dimmable with compatible dimmer switches for adjustable ambiance.
