Description
A 3-inch mini pendant from the Boreas collection, finished in brushed brass with a light smoke glass cylinder shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Boreas mini pendant offers sleek, contemporary style with an Art Deco flair. Its brushed brass finish and light smoke glass shade create a refined look that complements modern and transitional interiors. The compact size makes it perfect for grouping over islands or countertops.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in multiples for a stylish cluster.
- Dining rooms, providing focused accent lighting over a table.
- Entryways and hallways, adding a touch of elegance.
- Living rooms and reading nooks, as a decorative accent light.
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction.
Not ideal for
- Large rooms requiring bright, primary lighting - this mini pendant provides accent illumination.
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated, not wet-rated.
- Spaces with low ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is about 16.75 inches.
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb used; the fixture accepts one medium-base bulb (not included). With a standard 60W incandescent equivalent LED, you can expect around 800 lumens - suitable for accent lighting, not as a primary light source.
Light color and feel
The light smoke glass shade diffuses light, creating a soft, warm glow. The fixture is dimmable and compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. The color temperature will depend on the bulb chosen; a 2700K-3000K bulb provides a warm, inviting feel.
Sizing and fit
The mini pendant measures 3 inches in diameter and 10 inches in height. It includes one 6-inch and two 12-inch stems, allowing a hanging height range of 16.75 to 40.75 inches. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It is sloped-ceiling adaptable.
