Innovations Boreas 3in 1-Light Mini Pendant | Contemporary Satin Gold and Striped Clear Glass | Kitchen Island & Dining | Model 617-1S-SG-G617-11SCL

A 3-inch mini pendant from the Boreas Collection, finished in satin gold with a striped clear glass shade - perfect for kitchen islands and dining areas.

The Boreas mini pendant offers the sleek style of the Ballston with the ability to add flair by fitting any of the glass or metal shades from the Franklin collection. This version features a striped clear glass shade, which adds a subtle texture and visual interest while still allowing light to pass through clearly. The satin gold finish on steel and cast brass gives it a contemporary, art deco feel. It includes one 6-inch and two 12-inch stems to customize the hanging length, and a solid brass 90-degree hang straight swivel for sloped ceilings.

Best for

• Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in multiples for even task lighting
• Dining rooms and nooks, providing warm ambient light over a table
• Entryways and hallways, adding a touch of art deco elegance
• Living rooms and reading corners, used as a focused accent light
• Covered patios and sunrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction

Not ideal for

• Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
• Large rooms requiring high light output - a single 100-watt bulb provides accent or ambient light, not full-room illumination
• Spaces with very low ceilings if you need the full stem length - the minimum hanging height is 19.75 inches

How bright is it?

With a maximum 100-watt incandescent bulb (not included), this mini pendant can produce up to about 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent, which is bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table. If you use an LED bulb, you can achieve similar brightness with lower wattage. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the light level to suit the mood.

Light color and feel

The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb, which mimics traditional incandescent light and flatters skin tones and warm interiors. The striped clear glass shade adds a subtle texture to the light, creating a gentle play of light and shadow. The fixture is dimmable, so you can easily adjust the brightness.

Sizing and fit

This mini pendant measures 3 inches in diameter and 13 inches in height, with an adjustable hanging height from 19.75 to 43.75 inches thanks to the included stems. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It's suitable for most ceiling heights, and the included swivel allows installation on sloped ceilings. The fixture weighs 3 pounds.
