Description
A 3-inch mini pendant for kitchen islands and dining areas, featuring a brushed brass finish and a light smoke glass shade.
The Boreas mini pendant offers sleek, contemporary styling with an Art Deco flair. The brushed brass body and light smoke glass cylinder shade create a refined, custom look. It is compatible with a variety of glass and metal shades from the Franklin collection, allowing you to personalize the fixture to suit your space.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task lighting
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, providing focused illumination over a table
- Entryways and hallways, adding a touch of elegance
- Damp locations such as covered patios or bathrooms, as it is damp-rated
Not ideal for
- Large rooms requiring high light output, as it uses a single bulb (up to 100W)
- Spaces with low ceilings, as the minimum hanging height is 13.75 inches
- Outdoor or wet locations, as it is only rated for damp use
How bright is it?
The fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which can produce up to 1600 lumens. This is comparable to a standard 100W bulb, suitable for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table. LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs are also compatible.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to create the perfect ambiance. The light smoke glass shade diffuses the light softly, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
The mini pendant measures 3 inches in diameter and 10 inches in height, with an adjustable cord length of 10 feet. The minimum hanging height is 13.75 inches, and the maximum is 130.75 inches. It is sloped ceiling compatible, making it versatile for various ceiling types.
