Description
A 4-inch wide, one-light wall sconce in satin gold with a striped white glass shade, ideal for entryways and hallways.
The Boreas sconce offers the sleek style of the Ballston collection with a touch of flair. Its satin gold finish and striped white glass shade create a contemporary, art deco look. The fixture is ADA compliant and rated for damp locations, making it versatile. It accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is dimmable.
Best for
- Entryways and hallways, mounted at eye level
- Living rooms and bedrooms as accent lighting
- Bathrooms with a vanity (damp rated)
- Art deco or contemporary interiors
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas with direct water exposure (damp rated, not wet rated)
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting (bulb not included, but up to 100W)
- Very wide walls where a larger sconce would be more proportionate
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. It accepts up to a 100W incandescent bulb, which can produce around 1600 lumens - bright enough for accent lighting. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage or LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, select a 2700K-3000K bulb. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the ambiance.
