Description
A 1-light wall sconce for bathrooms and hallways, finished in oil rubbed bronze with a clear glass cylinder shade.
Part of the Boreas collection, this sconce offers sleek style with the ability to customize with shades from the Franklin collection. The oil rubbed bronze finish and clear glass create a contemporary, art deco look. It's wall-mounted with a heavy cast backplate for a sturdy feel.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 in vanity, mounted on either side of the mirror
- Hallways and corridors, providing accent lighting at eye level
- Bedrooms as reading sconces beside the bed
- Living rooms and dining areas for ambient wall lighting
- Damp-rated locations like bathrooms and covered porches
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, primary illumination
- Sloped ceilings - this is a wall sconce, not ceiling mounted
- Areas requiring high light output, as it uses a single bulb
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb used; it accepts up to 100W incandescent (or equivalent LED). For reference, a 100W incandescent produces about 1600 lumens, but the actual output depends on the bulb you choose.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb; it is compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. For a warm, cozy feel, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. Dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 4 inches long, 4.5 inches wide, and 10.75 inches high, with a 4-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 9.5 inches high. It's a compact size suitable for narrow spaces.
