Description
A contemporary Art Deco wall sconce with a striped clear glass cylinder shade, finished in antique copper, for bedrooms and hallways.
The Boreas sconce brings sleek, modern style with a touch of Art Deco flair. Its heavy cast backplate and cylindrical glass shade create a clean, sophisticated look. The antique copper finish adds warmth, making it a versatile accent for various decor styles.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as a reading light beside the bed
- Hallways, providing ambient accent lighting
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or media console
- Dining rooms, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere
- Entryways, adding a stylish welcome
Not ideal for
- Spaces with low ceilings where a flush mount is needed - this sconce extends 4 inches from the wall
- Areas requiring bright, task-level illumination - this is an accent light, not a primary light source
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces around 1600 lumens - bright enough for accent lighting, but not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified, but with a standard incandescent bulb, you'll get a warm, inviting glow. The striped clear glass shade adds visual interest and diffuses light softly.
Sizing and fit
This sconce measures 4 inches long, 4.5 inches wide, and 13.75 inches high, with a 4-inch extension from the wall. It's slightly taller than the 8-inch version, making it a striking accent in larger spaces.
