A 1-light wall sconce from the Boreas collection, finished in oil rubbed bronze with a deco swirl glass shade, for bedrooms and hallways.

The Boreas sconce brings a touch of Art Deco elegance to your walls. Its cylindrical glass shade in a deco swirl pattern diffuses light beautifully, while the oil rubbed bronze finish adds a timeless, sophisticated look. Made from steel and cast brass, this fixture is built to last and can be customized with other shades from the Franklin collection.

Best for

• Bedrooms, mounted as a reading light beside the bed
• Hallways, providing ambient accent lighting
• Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or media console
• Entryways, adding a warm welcome

Not ideal for

• Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, though it is damp-rated, it's best to avoid direct water spray
• Outdoor areas without protection from the elements
• Spaces where you need bright task lighting, as this is an accent fixture

How bright is it?

This sconce uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. Lumen output depends on the bulb you choose; with a standard 100W incandescent, you'll get about 1600 lumens, similar to a bright reading light.

Light color and feel

The light color depends on the bulb you select. For a warm, cozy feel, choose a 2700K-3000K bulb. The deco swirl glass shade diffuses light, reducing glare and creating a soft, ambient glow.

Sizing and fit

This sconce measures 4.5 inches wide, 4 inches deep, and 13.75 inches high, with a 4-inch extension from the wall. It's a compact size that works well in smaller spaces and hallways.
