Description
A 1-light wall sconce from the Boreas Collection, finished in brushed brass with a striped white glass shade - ideal for bathrooms, hallways, and living spaces that need a sleek, contemporary accent light.
The Boreas sconce combines a brushed brass backplate with a cylindrical striped white glass shade, offering a modern Art Deco flair. It's compatible with a variety of bulb types, and the dimmable feature lets you set the perfect ambiance. The heavy cast backplate ensures a sturdy wall mount.
Best for
- Bathrooms, mounted beside a vanity mirror for task lighting (damp-rated)
- Hallways and corridors, providing soft ambient light along the wall
- Living rooms, as accent lighting to highlight artwork or architectural details
- Entryways, creating a warm welcome for guests
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas without cover - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces where you need bright, task-level illumination - this is an accent light, not a primary light source
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), it can provide ample light for accent or ambient purposes.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, choose a 2700K-3000K LED or incandescent bulb. The striped white glass diffuses light softly, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
Measures 4" wide, 13.75" high, and extends 4" from the wall. The backplate is 4.5" wide and 9.5" high. Suitable for most wall spaces, including narrow hallways and small nooks.
