Innovations Ballston Boreas 13in 1-Light Wall Sconce | Art Deco Brushed Brass and Striped Clear Glass | Hallway | Model 617-1W-BB-G617-11SCL

A 13-inch tall wall sconce from Innovations Lighting's Boreas collection, finished in brushed brass with a striped clear glass cylinder shade - a sleek, Art Deco-inspired accent for hallways and bathrooms.

The Boreas sconce combines the sleek style of the Ballston collection with the ability to customize with Franklin shades. This version features a brushed brass finish over steel and cast brass, with a striped clear glass shade that adds visual interest. Its vertical orientation and compact size make it a versatile accent light.

Best for

• Hallways and corridors, mounted at eye level to create a warm, inviting path
• Bathrooms beside a mirror or above a towel bar, as it's damp-rated
• Living rooms or bedrooms as accent lighting to highlight artwork or architectural details
• Spaces with a modern or Art Deco aesthetic, where the brushed brass and striped glass shine

Not ideal for

• Outdoor areas without cover - rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
• Spaces needing bright task lighting - this is a single-bulb accent fixture
• Very wide walls where a single sconce might look lost - consider pairing multiple units

How bright is it?

This sconce accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), so brightness depends on the bulb. With a standard 100W bulb, you can expect around 1600 lumens - enough for accent or ambient lighting. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.

Light color and feel

The light color depends on the bulb. For a warm, inviting feel, choose a bulb with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The striped clear glass shade diffuses light slightly, creating a soft, patterned glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the ambiance.

Sizing and fit

The sconce measures 4.5 inches wide, 4 inches deep, and 13.75 inches high, with a 4-inch extension from the wall. The rectangular backplate is 4.5 inches wide by 9.5 inches high. It's designed for vertical mounting and weighs 3 lbs. Partial assembly is required.
