Description
A single-light wall sconce from Innovations Lighting, finished in antique brass with a seedy glass shade, perfect for hallways and bedrooms.
The Boreas collection offers the sleek style of the Ballston with the ability to add flair. This sconce can be fitted with any glass or metal shade from the Franklin collection to create a custom fixture. Its contemporary, Art Deco design and heavy cast backplate make it a sturdy and stylish addition to any wall.
Best for
- Hallways, mounted at eye level to provide ambient light
- Bedrooms, as a reading sconce beside the bed
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork
- Damp-rated areas like bathrooms or covered patios
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing primary illumination, as it is a single accent light
- Outdoor areas exposed to direct rain, as it is rated for damp, not wet, locations
How bright is it?
This sconce accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), providing up to 1600 lumens if using a 1600-lumen bulb. That's about as bright as a 100W incandescent, ideal for accent or ambient light, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. With warm white (2700K-3000K) LED bulbs, you'll get a soft, golden tone that flatters skin tones and complements antique brass. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 4 inches wide, 4.5 inches deep, and 13.75 inches high. It extends 4 inches from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 9.5 inches high. This size works well in hallways or beside a bed. It is hardwired and requires partial assembly.
