Description
A 23-inch, 5-light stem chandelier from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in satin nickel with seedy glass shades - a versatile industrial-vintage piece for kitchens and dining areas.
The Ballston design fits seamlessly into most decor styles, with a sleek silhouette and a wide range of finish and shade options. This version features a satin nickel frame with bell-shaped seedy glass shades, adding texture and vintage character. It includes one 6-inch and two 12-inch stems for customizable hanging length, plus a solid brass 90-degree hang-straight swivel for sloped ceilings.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 5-7 ft long, hung 30-36 in above the counter for a warm, inviting glow
- Dining rooms with tables seating 4-6, centered over the table
- Open-plan living areas where a statement chandelier anchors the room
- Entryways and stairwells with ceilings 9 ft or higher
- Covered patios or sunrooms - rated for damp locations
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft - minimum hanging height is 21.25 in
- Spaces needing bright, focused task lighting - 5 bulbs provide general illumination, not spotlighting
How bright is it?
With five 500W incandescent bulbs (not included), this chandelier can produce a very bright light - roughly 40,000+ lumens total. However, 500W bulbs are extremely high wattage; most users will opt for much lower wattage LED bulbs for practical use. The fixture is compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, inviting glow that flatters wood and brass, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The seedy glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare and casting a textured, atmospheric light.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 23"(L) x 23"(W) x 14.5"(H). The hanging height adjusts from 21.25 to 45.25 inches using the included stems. The canopy is 4.75" round. This chandelier suits rooms with 8-10 ft ceilings; for higher ceilings, you may need additional chain or stems (not included).
