Best for
- Kitchen islands 5 to 7 feet long, hung 30-36 inches above the counter
- Dining room tables, centered above for ambient light
- Breakfast nooks and eat-in kitchens with a vintage or industrial style
- Open-plan living areas, adding a statement piece
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp rating
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp rated, not wet rated
- Low ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 40-inch drop
- Spaces where you want a minimalist, modern look - this has a vintage industrial style
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose (not included). It accepts three 100W equivalent bulbs. For a bright, functional light, use 100W equivalent LED bulbs; for a softer glow, use lower wattage.
Light color and feel
The seedy glass shades diffuse light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow. For a classic incandescent feel, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 36 inches wide, 9.5 inches high, and 5 inches deep. The height is adjustable from 16.25 to 40.25 inches. It includes two 6-inch and four 12-inch stems for a total hanging length of 30 inches. Solid brass swivels are included for sloped ceilings.
